last night was the start of busy nights.

vacation bible school is here.

it'll run til thursday night

and i'll be taking photos all week

(minus wednesday, since i have class).

last night we had our kick-off.

our band...well, i call them "our" band...

as in church band.

they really aren't.

randy(above) is the brother-in-law of our

youth minister.

i went to CIY with him a couple of summers ago.

he's a cool kid.

okay, maybe not "kid".

he's married now with a little baby boy.

anyway, the group is called

first and foremost.

christian group.

nice guys.

eli and zac.

this is my 2nd to oldest brother, david.

somebody asked if he was mexican tonight.

i don't know where he came from.

he must get it from his mom,

cause my dad was not that dark!

my children's minister with her youngest, maddy.

amy's sister, anna seehorn, went to mcc and was in

my suite freshmen year.

anna's in topeka, children's minister, as well.

i love having amy around cause she sounds just like

anna(the three sister's all have the exact same laugh)

 and it's like having anna nearby,

even when she isn't.

famie and the kids were out there, too.

it was 95 degrees out,

no breeze and there was a water

deal for the kids to jump on.
