In 25 Hours...

...I will be welcoming in my last year of my 20's. How weird is that?? I'm not going mad like Jen, thinking about how old 30 is. Instead, I'm really excited. I've really started to figure out what it is I want to do and I think this last year is going to be the beginning of something wonderful. My mom was still having kids at 30. I'm completely done. Emily will be in Pre-K next fall...wow. Aiden, well, if he lives that long, will be going to some kind of preschool. He's been telling us today that "Aiden alway in big, big bull"...which translates to Aiden is always in big, big trouble. He's a quick one. In other news, since Jus worked 4th shift last night(officers have 4 shifts..it's weird, I know), he scored his free newspaper from his friend that delivers papers. I love Sunday papers. All the ads. My fave. Anyway, he and I have been making our Christmas lists. I always put a lot of little cheap things together(the more the better) and he always has big items he wants. This year he is the cheaper one. An MP3 player($50 at Target) and Thousand Foot Krutch CD's. My list consists of a new camera--Canon or Nikon, both over $700. Sheesh. Just as important as a new camera, I also want an IPOD. Music in my ears helps me think straight. Needless to say, I won't be getting either one of those items. I will be getting something even more important to me...the chance to see Natalie. They(the whole family) will be in Texas at the end of next month, so Nat and I were making plans today to see each other. I am so stoked. We actually won't see each other til 2010(Jan.), but that's right around the corner!! I can't wait to see Emily and Kait play together and speak to each other in person. So, now I am praying for great traveling weather, our vehicle to hold up and everyone else on my Christmas shopping list to have cheap items so we can afford to go. Can't wait to see you, Germany!! :)

Black Friday

I did not take part in the Black Friday fun this year. No allowance. Plus I had more important things to do...edit Ja and Heidi's pics. I finished them about 12:30a.m., went to bed and had to make sure the kids stayed quiet so Justin could sleep in(he worked til 3am). Heidi and I made a atrip to Dillons to make their photo CD(which I do not suggest you do--go to Wal-mart)before they leave town on Sunday. We got to view them on the big TV at Tim and Rena's. It was pretty cool. The family all seemed to approve of them, so that's a big plus! :) Yesterday was a beautiful day out, as well, so the kids took advantage and spent the majority of the day out in the backyard at Papa and Granny's.

Aiden is becoming Karsten Jr. When Karsten would come over, he would help Papa with T-Bone...in fact T listened to Karsten better than any of the other boys. Aiden is trying to help Papa now with Ila.

I just want to point out the difference between my kids. They both love vegetables, but the boy is a meat eater. If it's not Wendy's chicken nuggets, Emily probably won't even look directly at it. He eats way more than Emily. He ate just about the entire meal. My super eater.

Emily's whole Thanksgiving meal consisted of cream corn, carrots, broccoli, and seconds on corn and carrots.

Thanksgiving

This is what I did for Thanksgiving.

Best Thanksgiving ever. I got to take Ja and Heidi's Christmas photos. I've added a few on here, but they are more of the blooper-not-fully-edited shots.

This dog was out for a walk in the park and decided to make a cameo in our photo shoot.

We celebrated Emily's 4th birthday a tad early(it's Dec. 10th), since Uncle Jason was in town.

Kayla, Lori's oldest, multi-tasking. She brought a New Moon book that she's in the middle of reading. She's my new favorite person. :)
