my 7.5 foot tree can barely contain the 8 presents we have stuffed under it.  good grief.  what can i say??  the kids have been rotten.  emily lost her 2 new princess dolls after she cut her other dolls hair.  a new snow white and cinderella are heading to germany for her girls to play with in their new dollhouse...that they should be awake to see in about an hour or so(it's 11pm here).

justin got to get out his wii tonight.  most impatient boy ever.
just one present left under the tree for him...can't wait to have him open it so i can get a photo of him w it!!  it will be quite hilarious.

i got to see my brother james tonight after our christmas eve service with justin's parents.

i NEVER see my brother.  on purpose.  meaning, we bump into each other or i text/fb him.  we don't hang out.  he's loud and i'm too much like my mom and hate loud anymore.
such is life.  either way, i was excited to get to see him and leave some "fat pills" at his house.  that's code for cinnamon rolls.  i told him to make sure he was gonna be home when i came by cause i'd hate to have someone steal his rolls...afterall, i don't bake to make strangers get fat. :)  so, since he's not seen by many of the family very often, here he is...with the wife and kids.  haha.  oh, and he just launched his blog for his guitar designs...check it.  very excited for him.

it's very rare that he wears his dress blue uniform,

justin helped deliver presents to the family that he nominated on his beat this year.  he received this letter from one of the kids that received presents.  so sweet.
she's about 8 yrs old.  i love that there is a rough draft. :)
justin's known her little brother for a few years now and would often come home telling me little bits of conversations that he and rickie had.  rickie calls him justin, not officer whyte.  i love that rickie treats him like a friend.

oh, and i got a little package today. :)

christmas'y at the whyte house.

this was the scene last christmas eve.

snowy and very windy.

i don't know that we'll get to see the same thing this year.
i'm okay with that. :)
however, i want to take some snow photos. bad.
maybe that's why i decided to paint this today.
i don't know if i like it yet, or if i'm even done, but it's there.

i do know that i am going to start being in a photo once a week.  hopefully with a child or two, as well.
"me" photos are a little scarce around here.

now that i've finished my 2 day baking marathon in the kitchen( i never want to see flour again), photo time can start.
this was me and aiden watching 'the polar express' tonight.
and while i look no way wonderful, it was a cute moment.
aiden had been laying on my lap and got up, so we switched.  he let me rest my head on him and instead of yelling at me to get my big head off, he rested his hand on my face.  he is the sweetest boy ever.  really.

californian whyte christmas.

the california whyte's have come and gone,

heading to their next christmas destination.

i love when they come,

but it makes me hurt just thinking of having to be in a

vehicle for that long.

they made the trip here in about 28 hours.

that just does not sound like a fun road trip to me.

i didn't get to see them the first night they were

here, seeing as how the 'scissor queen' had

gotten in trouble that day.

these were all taken last night during our

dinner and visit with the family and a few

of hannah's friends from her summer at keynote.

in short, keynote is a christian singing deal where they were

in groups, performing in different states this summer.

hannah absolutely loved it.

we'll start the photos off with my new favorite cousin, steven.

he's the youngest, usually the shy one, who always

thought i was too old to speak to.

that's what i think, anyway. :)

i really enjoyed getting to chat with steven.

he'll be graduating from high school this year,

and i can't wait to see the many accomplishments

waiting for him.
