easter & diy.

the egg hunters have returned.

as much as they want to hunt today,

they may have to wait til they feel better.

the spring allergies have hit them.

even i feel gross today.

we've started some more renovating around here, too.  emily's old room was finally tackled.  walls painted, floor painted. 
the kids should be moved in there in about a week.  the room that they are in now, aiden's old room, is the smallest in the house and i thought i'd make it into a play room.  however, justin's luggage being in the living room at all times convinced me that he needed to have his own space.  especially since i tripped and fell over his luggage.  that hurt.
we found him a $20 desk on craigslist--tongue and groove wood.  oh, it's big and awesome.  also found a chair on craigslist for $10.  seriously got lucky with those finds.  he'll finally have his navy awards and police awards on the walls, luggage in his own closet, as well as ALL of his uniforms in one place.  right now they're in 3 different rooms.  oh, and we're re-painting his bathroom.  just half the wall--the bottom half has beadboard.  right now my hands have white speckles on them from the oil-based primer.  hate oil-based paint.  well, i'm off to take make some lunch!  more project photos to come.
