my house was attacked by pirates this weekend.
a little boy finally got to have his 4th
birthday party...an event in which he asked EVERY DAY,
zillions of times each day,
if it was almost time for his birthday party.
i think i was more excited for it to be here than he was.
[pre-party]
i had all kinds of awesome ideas in my head for his birthday cake. however, since we're trying to take the longest road trip ever and gas wants to keep climbing, we went with a cake from dillon's. you just can't beat $15. and the colors worked out well for it, too. the pirate boat was a little thing from target that cost me a whole .99.
one of the criteria for aiden's party was for his daddy to be in attendance. justin made it home on friday, passing his engineering course while he was away for 2 weeks. he told me yesterday that he saw an italian military personnel on his base.
wish he'd taken a pic of that guys uniform for me. :)
a water boomer. i can't wait to use it on him. :)
he had a great time at his party and i'm pretty sure he got more presents at it than at christmas. ha.
happy 4th birthday, buddy!
