***if you're one of my nephew's(or any adult that hates vulgarity, like me), i'm gonna ask you to stop reading after the red words. uncle justin went to a work party and his co-workers don't behave..and you don't need to see dirty language on their t-shirts! SO GO AWAY!!!***
thanks. :)
the CP christmas party was last night...
not dull, at all. :)
eric and jus...old academy buddies.
justin's sgt.
i always look forward to his christmas letters. they include photos of all of their travels throughout the year. so great.
justin drew his Lt.'s name and got him the shirt he always wanted...wanted to burn, that is.
before everyone put on their shirts, Lt. said a little prayer, asking for God's forgiveness for him having to wear that shirt. haha.
this is the new guy. he's from liverpool. justin told me about him a few weeks ago and i told him that for christmas i wanted to listen to him talk.
HAHAHA!
so i sat down next to him and told him all of that and said, "start talking. justin got a wii for christmas, so i need my money's worth here." i think i made him a little nervous. lol. it was my "leslie moment" for the year(HA, leslie!!).
unfortunately, he's been here too long. you can catch some accent when he says his r's, but it's nothing dramatic. his wife said i should listen to his mom...she's "fresh", as she says. she's been over for a yr and a half. :) though the hubby was a bust, i enjoyed talking to his wife, beth. she was really great.
did i mention that the old academy buddy, eric, is married to a local news anchor?? when we got home, justin said, "great...kim's gonna do a story on 'when police party's go bad'. haha.
i hear about dave almost everyday. he and justin are bff's.
oh, and he's hilarious, so i hear great stories about dave. :)
i met matt about 10 years ago when he was working for sunglass hut in towne west square mall. he was in college and great friends with a guy that i hung out with. and he had a gotee. the clean shaved face still throws me off.
the shirt display.
(this is what happens when you try to hide your shirt from the camera...not good.)
thanks, kids for a great party, as always. i enjoyed being the youngest one there. again. :)
