graduation & the rest of #3.

JUSTIN FINALLY DID IT!!!

yesterday, he received his associates from butler.

maybe an associates isn't a big deal to some,

but when you work full time, go to school full time,

have a family, throw in some part time jobs, and the navy...

well, you get my point.

it becomes a big deal.

we had a graduation/3rd b-day party for aiden

afterwards.

here's how we spent saturday!

okay, this is actually first thing friday morning... "aunt tari" brought aiden's gift on thursday since she was

playing volleyball in the riverfest.

he was asleep when she came over, so he opened it friday a.m.

he of course loved it. :)

there ya go, tari!

saturday....we were in el dorado at 8:15 am.

i was up at 6:30 am.

not how i like to spend my saturday.

oh, and it rained and flooded the parking lot.

aiden decided to re-inact his "jumping in puddles with his rain boots on" scene...

in his $50 stride rites.

not a happy mom(if you're new here, my kid has extra wide feet and stride rites are the

only thing he can wear--and they're super expensive).

if you know anything about justin,

it's that he likes k-state.

so to wear purple was pretty cool to him. :)

our munchies.

i was going to make aiden some cupcakes and put the army men from toy story on top,

but justin didn't have anything that said congrats to him.

we found the cake at sam's while munchies shopping.

it was butler colors, so we had to get it.

the red cabinet behind justin is the one we found at the estate sale!

present time.

i didn't really do a wonderful job of photographing everyone that was there.

my bad.

 the list included 2 sets of grandparents, 4 nieces, 6 nephews, 2 brothers, 2 sister-in-laws, one brother-in-law(my sis was working), justin's 2 bf's from HS and their hubbies.

(granny and chloe at least got photos taken!)

aunt amber thought that emily would like something, too.

she got a wand and some killer dress-up shoes.

i will feature those bad boys on another post.

the high school gang.

amber and justin, aka "g unit", as justin g calls them(to the left of jus) were in town from olathe to do mother's day with her mom.

ashley had a cute baby bump going on, too. :)

amber got a shot of us, as well.

we got to enjoy some evening snack time

with jen and grant, too.

(jen, i totally forgot to take photos of us!!!! agh!!)

the kids had fun squealing and running around the house.

haha.

all in all a great...but very long...day. :)
