today emily visited her new pre-k class
for the first time.
she carried in her supplies,
whining all the way about how they were heavy.
:)
emily's teacher,
mrs. chaffin(sitting).
love her.
the woman behind her is her assistant.
i don't love her.
i got jumped by her this morning for entering the
class through the wrong door.
no, "hi, i'm mrs. soandso.
you surprised me by
coming through this door,
cause we use the other one."
nope.
i got, "when we come in the room we go through
the other door".
she didn't say 'hi' or tell me her name.
nothing.
ergh.
i need to introduce her to georgetta mcdonald.
my old boss.
teach her about customer service.
i'd never even been down the hall where
the class was.
why would i know which door to go through?
i had to ask someone where the class even was,
making my panic attack start.
awesome.
what she didn't know is my panic attacks
either make me shut down
or be confrontational.
i completely shut down and could barely
get any words out when she came
back with emily's papers.
i was ready to go home when i got yelled at.
she was lucky i didn't yell back.
i can just see justin's eyes rolling as he's reading this.
at least the kids had fun playing.
emily kinda stood in there for a bit, taking it all in.
aiden had to be pushed through the door just so
i could get in the room.
oh, and emily has twins in her class.
identical twins.
poor aiden was a bit confused.
this should be fun. :)

You will grow to like Mrs. Tucker. She's actually pretty funny. I'll have to tell you about a funny 'pant' story sometime involving her and Sawyer. WAY funny:-) She's a little 'gruff' when you first meet her but I promise... she is a great preschool teacher:-) Emily will like her.
oh, dina! i hope so!!! justin said that he definitely wouldn't like her if i didn't. he's pickier than me. haha. i doubt that, but whatever.
