dearest justin,
the kids and i are co-existing rather well.
if they'd stop telling me you'll be home tomorrow,
we'd get along better.
you'll be impressed with all that i've done at home.
first, i got up at 6:30 am.
i know, right??
i could honestly just stop there and i know you'd be impressed at that alone.
i took a shower before the kids got up.
again, i could stop there and let you be amazed at that alone.
got ready in 10 minutes,
fixed the busted curtain rod in the living room(mostly),
finishing right before perry came with alyssa.
so i watched 3 kids,
made your kids waffles,
cleaned the kitchen counters(last night and at breakfast and lunch),
swept the floor,
cleaned the basement with emily,
swept the basement...with the attachment, i might add,
swept the upstairs hallway, again,
dusted!!,
ran the dishwasher,
emptied the dishwasher,
did two loads of laundry,
entertained my parents here,
made lunch,
got emily to say 'alice' in wonderland instead of 'alex',
dealt with your son 2 hours passed his naptime...
til he fell asleep watching backyardigans,
removed the trash bin from the curb,
spray painted the chalkboard frame from the kitchen
and then failed on another spray painting project
(the piece of fence wood that i was painting for another sign
just soaked in all the paint,
so it barely looks like i painted anything),
decided i am going to paint your bathroom and hang up
the navy cabinet thing that heidi passed over to us in there
(and remove the towel rack that is in there right now to use in the laundry room),
cleaned out callie's dog run and fed her right before it rained,
pulled the pool under the awning,
rolled and put the hose away--which i NEVER do.
oh, and today's big task:
i changed the vacuum bag.
i know....
always your job.
i totally did it all by myself.
haha.
here's some photos from 'popsicles in the pool' time yesterday.
emily was very excited to finally eat them in the pool.
:)
and i got your dogs to co-exist in the same space.
best wife ever.
love you, jus.
