another mostly aiden photo day.

the kids were watching a movie this morning and insisted that the

lights be turned off.

your son wanted to read his book, instead.

i had just read him 'where the wild things are',

'there's an alligator under my bed',

and the book you and i bought when emily was a baby,

'i love you a bushel and a peck',

which they sang all day today.

seriously.

he got his number book out and started moving the flaps

to see the numbers.

everytime he saw the number 3,

he got excited and exclaimed,

"3!!! my 3, too!!"

em, before i had to make her move away.

they did a great job of annoying each other today.

this is his favorite toy.

he has it a lot during the day.

by the way, everything measures out to 15.

i don't know if that's inches or feet,

but that's what he says.

"it's 15!"

he even measured himself.

guess we'll be planning a trip to see
