3-in-1..Visit to Gra's, UP!, and Morgan Whitcomb's b-day

Last Sunday, the kids and I took a little trip to see my parents in Canton, and my sister Carrie in Abilene. The kids favorite thing to do with their grandparents is sit and swing on the porch. They made sure that Gra came outside and joined them. Pop was taking a nap. He has been really worn out all of the time. We went to visit Carrie afterwards, even took a picture of her big belly, but for some reason, it didn't come up on my camera when I uploaded pics. She has about a week and a half left, or so. Today was the annual Law Enforcement Movie Day at the Warren East in Wichita. This is was the first time the kids have been to a movie on the BIG SCREEN...and since it was FREE, we made sure to take them to see UP!(it would've been $40 for all 4 of us to see that movie). Emily did pretty well with it. Aiden had to leave the last 20 minutes of the film. Daddy was not happy about missing his movie, but since it was free, it wasn't so bad. Emily talked through some parts, getting excited or a little concerned, but all in all LOVED the "funny movie". It was a 3-D film, but I didn't want them getting freaked out by things coming at them off of the screen, especially since it was their 1st time to go! So, all 4 of us opted(well, we opted for them) not to wear the 3-D glasses. That was a bit odd for a while, but it worked out okay. The movie was hilarious and we will definitely be buying it when it comes out on video!
After the movie we went over to Jen's house(Jen Frazee Whitcomb). Emily found out after running into another friend named Jen at Target this weekend, that there is more than one Jen. Now she asks if there are two of everyone's names. It's hard for a little person to understand, but it makes me laugh, as well. Anyway.... the picture below is what we are dealing with on a daily basis. Sassiness. Emily (AKA "the sassinator") is very sassy, keeps her hands on her hips and talks to you like she's 16. It's wonderful, I tell you.
Emily watching Morgan open her Mermaid(we told her she COULD NOT tell Morgan what she got her before she opened it. She informed Morgan that it was Ariel after she unwrapped it).
Aiden...the sweaty face is just a reminder of the heat mixed with humidity here in Kansas this weekend. It was 101 today and I'm sure the humidity was close to 100%. It was so gross out. And for those of you who ask, yes, that is RED hair on his head. It's past time for a haircut, but I LOVE his red hair! Red heads were my Granny's favorite.
