this was monday. the first day of november. it was beautiful. :)
since emily does all kinds of fun stuff at school that aiden has to miss, i try to do spontaneous things with him. so last minute that even i'm not prepared for them. we went to the park today and i had no camera. thank you, dear blackberry for taking the place of my canon. :)
if you've ever taken your child to the park, you know it's impossible to get them to stay still. and the phone needs the subject to remain completely STILL. i can't believe they even came out this good! :)
by the last shot, aiden wanted to just go play, and honestly i was just using him as an excuse to take a photo of the red tree. haha.
i've been trying to be productive this week when it comes to painting outside. the november weather is already much cooler and i don't know how many 50 degree+ days there are left before it's too cold to paint. some of my painting projects are finally completed.
old rusty hook i bought for $3, now painted and ready for the kids to hang their coats on. emily has a ballet pink hook for her coat, as well.
the free table from the neighbors curb. it's a krylon color called smoke gray...there's not actually any blue or green to it. just gray.
my 79 cent loaf pans from the salvation army for an upcoming project... i shut the garage door on one. it was already dented a little and the door hit it in the same place, so there was only paint damage. awesome. they've seen a few coats of paint since then. haha.
i have a lot more projects to do with spray paint, but the staff at walmart is starting to eye me suspiciously. i got carded today when i got my gray can. honestly, i wouldn't be worried about anyone buying paint unless it was the clear coat stuff. that junk is super strong!
gonna have to start hittin' michael's and hobby lobby for paint. :)
