noise.

aiden does a lot of talking.
sometimes when he will not quit,
i call him "james".
that's my brother's name.
non-stop talker.
an anderson trait.

i often say, "he's like a shark, in the way a shark dies if it stops moving...he would no longer be able to
live if he had to stop talking.

sometimes i hear jibberish.
other times it's noises...oh, the noises.

my favorite are the conversations.

we were pulling out of blockbuster and he saw a police car.

"mommy! maybe dat's daddy police car?!
that guy goy'na go FAST!
mommy...you got a "FAST button"?

"a what?"

"a FAST button.  you push the SLOOOW button".

(after laughing hysterically)
"mommy can't push the fast button, aiden.
that police guy will pull me over.
what would he tell mommy?"

"my. don't. know!"

"he'd tell me to slow down so i don't hurt
someone with the truck"...(i tend to leave out parts
about tickets or how i've gotten them.)

"oh.
my take him to jail.
  he not a tough guy."

he asked if we were going to get emily from
school yet and i told him we needed to get gas.
he yelled about how he didn't want to get gas.
i told him the truck won't work without it.

so, after he helped fill up,
he informed me(and daddy) that he
had to get gas so his truck could "go".

 justin is now home.
in bed snoring.
i had 5 days of sleeping on "the good side of the bed"
(he sleeps on my favored side because it's easier
to lay his police stuff out in the a.m.
and not wake me...or so he thinks. ),
with no snoring.

i was spoiled.

now we're back to the snoring.
which is why i'm blogging.

and he wonders why i stay up so late.

i was invited out for a photographer get-together session this weekend.
area photographers gathered for a couple of hours,
shooting a few different models.
lots of fun.
(thanks to my in-laws for babysitting!)

here are a few shots--catch the rest on the photo blog.

okay, i'm finally worn out enough to be able to sleep,
even with the snoring.
g'night, kids.
