i have a little girl that turns 5 soon.

not til next week.

however, due to her birthday being in december,

we celebrate when our family can be in town..

over thanksgiving.

she asked to have an alice in wonderland party...
and since i had everything already, i happily said yes.

i made cupcakes and little 'eat me' flags for them.

my mom made emily an alice doll.

emily adores this rabbit that my mom made for me,

so i begged my mom to make em an alice.

she of course loves it and sleeps with it.

she also received something else she loves..

tinkerbell.

thank you to my sister for the most annoying

sounding tinkerbell, with no off button,

of course.

the magical chiming is so loud.

probably why she bought it.

 i got an early present, myself.  our buddy adrian came to town for thanksgiving and made an appearance at the party.  my parents enjoyed seeing him, as well.  i told adrian i wanted to see him for my birthday.  it was like 5 days early, but it totally counts. :)

as emily waited for party #2, she sat and read a book...
ducktales.  apparently, it's a really good book.  cracked me up.


party #2 involved the whyte side...

justin and i kept telling her to put the "RE-punzal" book down and open her other gifts, but she was glued to it. :)

the maize family came over, as well.  amber and katie were in town and i thought with new baby andre here, it may be easier for everyone just to come hang out at our house.

this was aunt katie's first time meeting andre, too.

emily sang her christmas songs from school for everyone, too.  there's a future choir kid in this house. :)
