A Bushel and a Peck
For Mother's Day this year, we gave Justin's mom a musical card that played the song "Bushel and a Peck". It's a song that Grandma Whyte use to sing to Justin and his brother's when they were little. Whenever the kids spend the night with Granny and Papa, they have to play the song on the card a few times, singing along with it, of course, before heading to bed. Usually the kids sing when we do it at home, but this time they just wanted to dance together. Be sure to turn the volume down for the video and just watch the show.
If you've never heard it, the song goes:
I love you
a bushel and a peck
a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck
a hug around the neck and a barrel and a heap
a barrel and a heap and I'm talking in my sleep
about you, babe
