This weekend we FINALLY got to see Justin's Uncle Mark! We haven't seen him since Emily was about 8 mos old(she crawled for the first time while we were visiting with them). The family hadn't even met Aiden. Uncle Mark always teases us saying that we borrowed the cute little boy in our pictures from the neighbor.
Uncle Mark and Aunt Katie(or Uncle Katie, as Justin use to call her) have 3 kids...Hannah(middle child), Steven(the youngest) and Timothy(the oldest..this was the only shot I got of Timothy!)
Emily instantly fell in love with her "big, big cousins", but was glued to Hannah.
On Thursday night, Jack was admitted to Kansas Medical Center in Andover to have fluid drained from both of his lungs. Sunday, Carrie and AJ came to town to visit Jack in the hospital.
AJ, now 2 1/2 weeks old, is looking like a little man. He was so sweet to hold.
AJ hanging out with Pop. Good thing he's too little to be curious about Jack's cords.
Keeping an eye on his Pop, who is playing with his foot. As of Sunday, they were still getting fluids from Jack's lungs. This is all suppose to be from his heart surgery. I think they called it Dressler's disease. So far they have drained 4 liters of fluid out of his lungs. He was told he should be out today, but that was on Friday, before he had to go back to the ICU. His lungs were only working at 59% at one point and his blood pressure had dropped to 80/54. Through it all, he's been alert and more coherent on what day it is, who we are, and so on. Hopefully he will be back home soon!
