sleigh ride

introducing my new header. it's almost christmas, so it won't be up too long, but i wanted the chance to show it off for a bit.

i actually painted it.

well, not the kids and the sleigh and horse, but the ground, background and snow falling.

this is for my mom for christmas.

she was an art teacher, and though she never really taught me to paint, i've watched her plenty of times to have a small understanding of what i was suppose to be accomplishing.

and that was as close as i'm going to get!

i had found some old cards on etsy and the photo of that card had really caught my eye.

it was the whole reason i bought the set.

i had bought some thickers chipboard self-adhesive letters to put 'sleigh ride' on it,

but i really like the paint alone.

maybe my mom will finally show me how to paint...
