leaves are falling.
finally.
most of them haven't even started changing before
they've hit the ground,
but they're falling nonetheless.
spray paint and i are close friends again.
as are the sander and steel wool.
so far the only thing i like about this
super warm Fall is that it's
still warm enough to spray paint. :)
my rusty metal numbers got a facelift.
the 5 is now aqua and the 7 is just
primed, waiting for it's indecisive owner
to pick a color to paint it.
emily's ballet pink chair from the rusty chandelier in
st. joe has finally been sanded and painted.
only took a year and a half to do it.
it's the same color as before.
i had a darker pink in mind when i bought the chair,
but i had the ballet pink color onhand,
so that's what i went with.
krylon paints are 3 bucks each.
if i don't have to buy more,
i don't.
you know,
my birthday is in a month and a half.
i'm not opposed to receiving spray paint,
old fence wood or any other art supplies
as gifts.
just sayin'. :)
i'm wishing i had taken a photo of heidi's project.
she had a large piece of tin
(i have a small sheet of the same tin in
my living room--i adore it!),
and is adding it to a large frame that
their old landlord had in their basement(!)
to make a message/photo board.
it's gonna be Ah-MAZING.
just wait.
you'll see. :)
