Sworn In

Today Justin was sworn back in to the Navy. Sigh. I know that he is so excited for today. He just turned 30 two days ago and now he's going back to the job that he loves so much.
He was all smiles today as he signed all of his papers and repeated all the necessary words to once again place him in the hands of the Navy. It was definitely an experience for me and for our family(his parents included). Before they started, one of the recruiters announced that there was a swearing in occuring. That was pretty cool. I think the funniest thing was right before we left...another Navy guy entered the recruiting office, saluted and yelled, "Permission to come aboard, Sir!" Seeing as how we are in Kansas and the nearest boat was probably located in a manmade pond in a nearby housing addition, it made me chuckle a little. :) This flag was hung especially for Justin's swearing in. Chief King getting Justin's signature. Burkhead swearing in Justin. He works for the Sheriff's Dept., as well. NC1 Recruiter Russell Custer, or just Custer to me. He's the one who got him in this mess. :) He always asks if I'm mad at him for signing Justin back up. Good grief. He's one of my favorite Navy boys. Officially a Navy brat. The last time Justin was in the Navy, she was only a month old.
Papa was trying to get him signed up, too.
