dear mommy

dear mommy,

this morning i woke up with a whole new outlook on life! i am so thankful for everything!! for water. how it tastes. how it looks on the floor! oh, how beautiful it is.

thankful for wonderful creations such as chairs. chairs to climb on and reach the things i could only dream of being possible to reach with the help of an adult. now i can do it all by myself. how amazing chairs are.

for pumpkin pie. the color. the crust. the pie. mmmm. it's just so good.

. i am thankful for the ability to take my clothes off all by myself. how big i am and how nice it is to run through the 67 degree house naked. and when i've had too much pie, how lucky i am to have a sink nearby to put my leftover pie in. what a remarkable thought that was!

so i would like to take this time and color a picture for you, mommy, reflecting my gratitude and appreciation for you and all that i can do...
